Emilia Clarke wants to grow her hair as long as possible.
For her final season as Daenerys Targaryen in the hit TV show Game of Thrones back in 2019, the British actress dyed her brunette locks an eye-catching platinum blonde.
However, the dramatic dye job did a great deal of damage to her own tresses, and now, Emilia is determined to get back to her original lengths.
"I decided to bleach my hair blonde because I wanted it to be Daenerys's colour for the last season. My hair was so fried that I basically had to cut it all off, like a proper Leonardo DiCaprio, Romeo + Juliet boy cut," she recalled in a new interview for InStyle.com. "Now my hair has naturally grown out. I give it more nourishment than you could possibly imagine. It's my proudest achievement, and I don't plan on cutting it ever again. I'm going to be 90 with it down to my bum - that's my plan."
And while Emilia is quite the expert when it comes to haircare products, it's skincare and cosmetics where her heart really lies. The star was named as a brand ambassador for Clinique last year, and is a big fan of the brand's red lipstick lines.
"When you first get a red lipstick, you think you've got the one. Then you start to broaden out a bit. Now I've got hundreds. I find blue-toned reds really complementary," the 34-year-old noted. "These days I'm being bolder and braver and rocking a red lipstick for lunch. Why not?"
