Game of Thrones ended a few months ago with an eighth season that garnered great disagreement. Even so, it is undeniable that it remains one of the most acclaimed television fictions of all time.
A highly commented aspect of this HBO series was its constant scenes of n-dity and violence, some of them starring its main characters. Such is the case of Daenerys Targaryen, the queen of dragons played by Emilia Clarke.
During the first few seasons of the show, she was shown without any clothes on in several scenes. For example, in one of them her character was s-xually abused by her husband, the Dothraki king Kahl Drogo, played by Jason Momoa.
Well, on actor Dax Shepard's podcast, the British actress pointed out that despite the fact that n-dity was not required in her contract, she was pressured by her bosses to shoot without clothes anyway. Although Clarke was not entirely comfortable with such a request, she ended up complying because she was inexperienced and insecure enough to make her limits clear. On this subject, she noted:
It should be remembered that when she started filming GoT (in July 2010), she was just 22 years old. Currently, Emilia is 33 years old and declares: "I am much wiser now with what I feel comfortable and with what I agree to do." However, this is not the first time that the artist has spoken on such a matter. Already in 2015 she had commented to the press: "I want to be known for my talent, not for my breasts."
Luckily, cast members like Momoa encouraged her to just do what she really wanted to do in front of the cameras. Emilia recognized that the attitude of her colleague made it easier for her to record the intim-te scenes that both shared.
