Julianne Moore says her director husband's jealous of her onscreen lovers - especially Mark Wahlberg
Julianne Moore reveals her husband of 16 years Bart Freundlich was jealous when she kissed Mark Wahlberg for the 1997 film Boogie Nights
Most actresses have to do love scenes whether their partners like it or not.
Now Julianne Moore has revealed that her husband of nearly 16 years, director Bart Freundlich, 49, very definitely doesn't like it and often gets jealous of her onscreen lovers.
The actress, 58, dished about it when she and Eva Longoria played Deal Breakers: Marriage Edition on Andy Cohen's Watch What Happens Live on Thursday.
When the wheel that chooses the questions stopped at 'gets jealous of your love scene partners,' Julianne was quick to confess that described Bart.
'I’ve just learned to live with it,' she said. 'But he’s a director!' Eva replied.
'I know, it’s worse when he’s directing too,' Julianne laughed.
And the scene that upset him most? Julianne making out with Mark Wahlberg, 48, in 1997's Boogie Nights.
'Oh that was the worst,' Julianne admitted. 'What did he say?' Andy asked.
'We were very early in our relationship, so lot’s of arguments in the car,' she added, as the couple didn’t get married until 2003.
'I was like, "It’s work, it’s work, it’s work!“ '
The couple met on Bart's 1997 film The Myth Of Fingerprints in which she starred and he directed.
They have since made four films together, including their upcoming After The Wedding, which is due out on Friday.
