Actress was intimidated by co-star Anthony Hopkins during iconic scene.
Scarlett Johansson has revealed that she was terrified while shooting the iconic shower scene from Psycho in her upcoming film Hitchcock.
The actress plays Janet Leigh opposite Sir Anthony Hopkins as Sir Alfred Hitchcock in the film about the making of his 1959 horror film.
In a new interview with V Magazine - via WENN - Johansson spoke candidly about the process of shooting the scene.
She said: "You have got to be brave, get into the shower, and face Anthony Hopkins as Hitchcock jabbing you in the face with a 12-inch kitchen knife.
"As much as Anthony Hopkins is a pussycat, he's terrifying. Maybe I watched Silence of the Lambs too many times when I was a kid. Maybe I was having some flashbacks. So I didn't need too much preparation for the scene."
