The actress spoke about the episode she experienced in 2011 when images where she appeared n-de were leaked. "It was something degrading and terrible," she said.
Actress Scarlett Johansson revived the leak of intim-te photos that she suffered in 2011 during an interview with a British radio program.
"It was absolutely devastating and shocking at the time. It was like an invasion. As a woman I felt that going through all that was degrading and terrible," said the American in statements collected by the Independent.
In 2011 Johansson suffered the hacking of her personal phone, resulting in a series of intim-te images of her going around the Internet.
In the conversation, the protagonist of "Ghost in the Shell" indicated that the hacker pretended to be her to obtain photographs of other people.
"He feels particularly invasive when you're in the public eye and you're like, 'What else can I deliver?'" she continued.
Christopher Chaney, the person responsible for leaking the images of Johansson and other celebrities, was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
