Mohamed Hadid denies having raped a model in an apartment.
Recently, the model Miranda Vee shared through Instagram the complaint that she had been s-xually harassed.
"I ran into Paul [Marciano] at the @guess headquarters, which is actually an apartment where he s-xually harassed me, and after that he passed me on to his friend Mohamed who was meeting me for 'coffee.' It was a professional meeting but it was just him, me and champagne. It was a date in which he raped me in an apartment," Miranda said on social media. "All of this so I could audition for a GUESS campaign. LAST year when I tried to report this in public, they found out and made me sign a non-disclosure agreement. I only signed it because Paul threatened me and told me he would make me disappear." if he ever said anything #TIMESUP".
She added, "Should we stay quiet just because they have power? #METOO."
After hearing Miranda's allegations, Mohamed's lawyer dismissed the claims, saying her client is "completely innocent."
"It's disappointing that people like Miranda Vee make up false stories to be famous for fifteen minutes. Mohamed Hadid is completely innocent, in every way. He is a great father to his four daughters, respects all women and believes in empowering all women, not just their daughters," he told E! News in a statement attorney Mark Maute. "There are no complaints or lawsuits pending. Ms. Vee will not be offered or paid anything. She is not entitled to anything because she is making things up that did not happen. There are real victims out there and we stand with them. Ms. Vee is not a victim of anything."
AND! News reached out to GUESS for comment on Paul.
These allegations come after Kape Upton criticized GUESS for hiring Paul and made vague accusations against the firm's co-founder.
"It's disappointing that such an iconic brand for women like @GUESS still retains Paul Marciano as its #MeToo creative director," she wrote on social media. "He should not be allowed to use his power in the industry to s-xually and emotionally harass #MeToo women."
Paul later denied Kate's allegations to TMZ, saying that he has never touched Kate or been alone with her. The outlet also reported that he was in shock at the accusations and that he claims to have done nothing wrong.
"If she has a complaint there is a place to tell the truth and it is in court or with the police," he told TMZ.
