WHY WASN'T KEANU REEVES PARTICIPATED IN “MAXIMUM SPEED” 2?

On several occasions Keanu Reeves has spoken about "Maximum Speed" since it was one of the greatest hits and shortly after Point Break arrived and showed that he could be a great action star and he has certainly succeeded.

The film was one of the most successful of the 90s and for this reason 20th Century Fox decided to produce the sequel and they would pay him a salary of 11 million dollars. However, Reeves turned down the spotlight to tour with his band and do some theater.

Despite this, the creator of the film continued with "Full speed" 2, but the result was not as expected, since it was a total failure.
