'We were both very comfortable': Harry Styles-inspired fanfiction film star Hero Fiennes Tiffin, 21, reveals how he prepared for the movie's steamy scenes
The English actor stars as the lead in the Harry Styles-inspired fanfiction film, After.
And now Hero Fiennes Tiffin, 21, has revealed what it was like to shoot many of the films' steamy scenes with Australian actress Josephine Langford, 21.
Talking exclusively to Daily Mail Australia on Thursday, he said the pair 'were both very comfortable' with the racy scenes.
The actor plays bad boy Hardin Scott, whose fictional character was originally inspired by One Direction's Harry Styles.
Hero said while the scenes may come across effortless on screen, they were in fact extremely choreographed and far from s-xy.
'It’s actually a lot closer to a step-by-step routine than an actual s-x scene,' he confessed.
'It’'s so uns-xy and like not s-xual at all.'
'Before we even started shooting we did rehearsals where we could choreograph those scenes and they were so much more like a dance or a fight scene than what you're actually pretending to act,' he said.
‘It was a very systematic process which we were both very comfortable with.'
The film is based off of Anna Todd's fan-fiction novel, which was originally based off of Harry Styles from One Direction, however was changed after it was turned into a novel and film.
In no way is Daily Mail insinuating that Harry Styles shares any likeness to the character, Hardin Scott, in the film.
The Sign Of The Times singer has yet to comment on either the books or the new film, with author Anna Todd admitting her work is completely fiction and has never met Harry Styles.
Anna, who began writing After on her phone using the Wattpadd app in 2013, is now a best-selling author with her After series being read more than one billion times.
While the film is the first major roles for its stars Hero and Josephine, they're both come very well-equipped with the acting industry.
Hero is the nephew of actors Ralph and Joseph Fiennes and Josephine is the younger sister of 13 Reasons Why's Katherine Langford.
