Hailey Bieber shows support for Justin as uncle Alec Baldwin faces legal trouble

Hailey Bieber cut a somber figure following news her uncle Alec Baldwin had been charged with involuntary manslaughter in the death of Rust cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.

The model, 26, was spotted sharing a tender embrace with her husband Justin Bieber, 28, in Los Angeles on Wednesday, after the charge against her uncle was announced.

Hailey nestled her head atop her husband's shoulder and gently wrapped her hands around his torso before pulling away.

The duo were spotted chatting at the corner of a sidewalk alongside another pal.

Justin, clad in a grey 'Magical Mushrooms' sweatshirt and violet beanie, gave his love his undivided attention as he listened to his wife.

Eventually, they parted ways, with Hailey leaving the scene with her hands shoved into the front pocket of her lime green Drew sweatshirt.

She wore her hair slicked back into a chic bun while her trusty pair of shades rested atop her nose.

Her legs were on full display as she trekked down the sidewalk in her chunky white sneakers and ankle-high socks.

Hailey did not address her uncle's legal battle on her Instagram account, and instead promoted her Rhode skincare line.

It was announced that Baldwin, 64, and armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, 25, will be charged with involuntary manslaughter Thursday, 15 months after the 42-year-old cinematographer was shot dead by the actor on the set of Rust in New Mexico.

Baldwin's attorney Luka Nikas hit out, claiming 'this decision distorts Halyna Hutchins' tragic death', and doubled-down on his client's previous protestations, saying the actor's colleagues 'assured him the gun did not have live rounds.' He  also called the decision to charge the actor 'a terrible miscarriage of justice.'

'We will fight these charges, and we will win,' the lawyer stated.

But Mary Carmack-Altwies, New Mexico First Judicial District Attorney, promised that Baldwin would not get 'a free pass', accusing the actor of running a 'fast and loose set' plagued by safety issues.

Baldwin has continually laid blame at the feet of others since accidentally shooing Hutchins dead on October 21, 2021.

Hannah Gutierrez-Reed also vowed to fight the charges.

In a statement, her attorneys said: 'Hannah is, and has always been, very emotional and sad about this tragic accident. But she did not commit involuntary manslaughter.

'These charges are the result of a very flawed investigation, and an inaccurate understanding of the full facts.

'We intend to bring the full truth to light and believe Hannah will be exonerated of wrongdoing by a jury.'
