Lindsay Lohan and her alleged relationship with Saudi Prince Mohammed bin Salman

A new version assured that the actress and the crown prince of the Saudi crown, accused of the murder of Jamal Khashoggi, are very close, but her representative denied such a story.

The actress Lindsay Lohan was once again the subject of comments, but not because of any scandal, but because of her supposed closeness to Mohammed bin Salman, crown prince and visible face of the Saudi monarchy.

For some time a strong rumor had been circulating according to which Lohan was enjoying trips around the world in private jets thanks to bin Salman, who would also have showered her with gifts, including a credit card.

But that version was shot down by her representative, who explained to Page Six that Lohan and the prince, named as the person who ordered the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi in 2018, do not have an affair.

The actress and bin Salman do know each other, but they only saw each other once, about a year ago, at a Formula One race, and the prince never gave Lohan a credit card, her rep said, adding that all the stories around are "lies".

Details of the alleged romance between the actress and the prince indicated that both were in contact through messages, which were even seen by some of her friends.

A source close to the actress told Page Six that it's not unusual for Lohan to be courted by Middle Eastern rulers. "They go crazy for her."

Just last year Lindsay revealed her intentions to shoot a movie called Frame, with an all-female crew to showcase Saudi culture, though so far the project hasn't materialized.

Within the story that linked her to the prince, it was said that despite the fact that they would seem to be two opposite people, until before Khashoggi's murder, the bin Salman regime had promoted itself as a modern government that would fight for women's rights.

Following Khashoggi's assassination, the CIA and other agencies pointed to Mohammad bin Salman as the mastermind behind the crime, sparking widespread rejection of him and, it was said in November, could cost him the crown.

Page Six tried to find out the Saudi prince's version of her alleged relationship with Lohan, but so far her representatives have not responded to the aforementioned website.

Lindsay Lohan has not been known for any romance in recent times after her turbulent relationship with Russian businessman Egor Tarabasov.

In January 2017, the actress surprised by deleting all her photos from Instagram and posting a message in Arabic: "Alaikum salam", which translated means "peace be with you", which raised doubts about a possible conversion to Islam. In addition, she had been seen walking through New York with the Koran in hand, but her representative denied that the actress had changed her religion.

Regarding Tarabasov, her relationship with the businessman was not free of scandals. In August 2016, a video showing a fight between the two circulated on various sites in the United States.

Lohan and Tarabasov were on the island of Mykonos, in Greece, where the actress settled for a while and even owned a beach club.

The video showed the moment Lohan threw a phone into the sand and they both got out of the vehicle they were in. The businessman struggled with the actress until she managed to snatch the cell phone from her hands.

Just weeks before, Lohan had accused the businessman of trying to kill her. "Help. He just strangled me. He almost killed me. Let the whole world know. Get out of my house!" Shouted the actress during a discussion with him that she alarmed her neighbors.

After the video of the assault was released, Lohan revealed to the Daily Mail that she had broken up with Tarabasov. "No woman is capable of being assaulted in this way and continue with him… Now I realize that she cannot stay in a relationship just for love."
