What happened to Ariana Grande?
Unfortunately, she is involved in a controversy over an unfortunate comment about a photo where "JonBenét Ramsey" appears, a 6-year-old model girl.
Doug, a friend of Ariana Grande, made a post on Instagram where he collected several magazines and in one of them he saw "JonBenét Ramsey" on the cover, in the description he said the following: "No one has done as many covers as her." To which the “7 Rings” interpreter commented: “I can't wait for it to be your Halloween costume.”
What was the problem about this comment? Well it turns out that this girl, in addition to being a highly sought-after model in 1996, was also murdered under suspicious circumstances. The minor was found dead on December 25, 1996 in the basement of her house. Even though her parents found a ransom letter eight hours before they found her body, the first suspects were theirs and her 9-year-old brother. The autopsy revealed that she was strangled to death, she also suffered mistreatment during the last hours of her life, she even suffered torture caused by an electroshock weapon, but rape was ruled out.
The murder of the "Child Beauty Queen" was so controversial that it has been recreated in the fifth season of South Park, the episode is called "Butters' Very Own", where it is implied that it was the parents of "JonBenét" who they murdered her. Also, the "Rosa de Guadalupe" aired an episode of "Muñequita de Porcelana" based on these true events about the little model.
The case has not yet been solved and Ariana Grande revives the mystery again with a foolish comment about the minor. The singer expressed an apology on Twitter with the following message: “Yes, I deleted it (the comment) very quickly and I understand that it is not funny at all. It was misplaced and I sincerely apologize."
This fact exposed her to millions of criticisms by making fun of a delicate situation and although she has already apologized, the haters do not forgive her.
The singer has decided to take refuge in the support of her fans by sharing a message from Nicki Minaj, which in one part says the following: “My fans keep me so entertained. They know the way to my heart, they make me laugh and they know how to do it every time. I could be angry and they will make me laugh out loud…”.
