Mila Kunis mocks Ashton Kutcher and Reese Witherspoon as a couple

This week a romantic comedy arrives on the Netflix platform where the actors act as a couple of best friends. The actor's wife gave her opinion on the promotional photographs of the film.

"Your house or mine", Reese Witherspoon's first film for Netflix, became a trend after the publication of the promotional photos for the film. In one image, the actress and her co-star Ashton Kutcher have a chemistry that Mila Kunis, the actor's wife, finds "strange."

In a “Today with Hoda & Jenna” interview, Witherspoon recalled posting photos of her and Kutcher looking strange, seemingly distant. Their silhouettes are close, but their countenances are one of discomfort, or a hidden smile.

The photographs aroused the laughter of the television hosts during the interview with Witherspoon. For her part, the actress commented that her friend, Mila Kunis, wrote her an email in which she mocked the attitude of the actors on the film's promotional carpet.

“(Mila) sent us an email last night. (...) She said: 'You look so weird together on the red carpet.' It's fun, because when you get to know a friend that well, then it's fun to meet the most important part of her (Kutcher). I mean, I've loved her for a long time."

In Netflix's romantic comedy "Your House or Mine," Kutcher and Witherspoon play Peter and Debie, best friends with vastly different personalities. Because they both long for their routines with their family and at work, they decide to do a house swap for a week. Thus, they receive various lessons.

In the Today interview, Witherspoon highlighted what a person Ashton Kutcher is. “He is so professional. He is the funniest guy. He I mean, a fool. We had lots of fun. Every time he wore a fun outfit, he would take a picture and text it to Mila (Kunis). She'd say, 'What's your husband wearing?'” Witherspoon said.

During filming, the actors began a friendly relationship. To do this, they kept phone calls and wondered about their lives. “I was like: ‘These are my dogs. These are my children'. (...) My children made fun of him because of his football team, ”Witherspoon commented.
