Christina Ricci reflects on her decision to pose in pink lingerie for the cover of Rolling Stone at age 19, expressing regret.
In a recent interview with Rolling Stone magazine, Christina Ricci opened up about her experience shooting the 'Nice & Naughty' cover for the magazine in 1999. Although the image was very much of its time, Ricci admits, "It's not how I would have chosen to be dressed...Not great."
Reflecting on her youth in the industry, Ricci also revealed that she "was a bit of a d---head" during interviews at that time, and that she could have handled things differently. She now finds herself being more careful about what she says and embracing body positivity.
Ricci also spoke about her struggle with anorexia in her teens and the pressure to maintain a certain appearance in Hollywood. "The amount of years spent obsessed with trying to make sure nobody could criticize you for your appearance... I really have embraced this body-positivity thing," she said.
At 43 years old, Christina Ricci has come a long way from her early days in Hollywood and is using her experiences to promote a message of self-acceptance and positivity.
