Did Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Surrender to King Charles?

According to sources close to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will not put up a fight against King Charles III's recent decision to have them vacate their UK residence.

Frogmore Cottage was gifted to the couple by Queen Elizabeth II after their wedding in 2018, but now it seems Prince Andrew has been offered the royal residence by the new monarch.

The couple has stated that they have no intention of resisting the King's decision, stating that they will vacate the house as requested. This move has also been confirmed by Charles, who reportedly offered the residence to Prince Andrew instead.

In contrast, it is reported that the Duke of York is not willing to downsize from his current residence, the Royal Lodge in Windsor, which he shares with his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson and has lived in for over two decades.

Tom Bower, a royal expert, commented to Page Six that "Harry and Meghan provoked him [King Charles] with Harry’s disgraceful book and the interviews he gave," referring to the couple's controversial statements made in recent media appearances.
