While performing, Harry noticed a sign in the audience held up by a fan named Asal. The sign read, "my family is all here, help me come out". Harry stopped the show to speak to Asal and asked for her name before reading her request to the entire arena.
He then asked the crowd if they were ready and requested some "sparkling coming out music" from his band. Harry asked Asal for the tempo she wanted, and the band played a slow jazzy rhythm to which Harry began dancing around the stage. He grabbed a rainbow flag from the floor and played with the crowd, announcing that Asal would officially be "out" once the flag dropped.
Harry then turned to the crowd and explained what was happening, which caused an eruption of screams. He threw the flag into the air and exclaimed that Asal was out of the closet, congratulating her and shouting, "Freedom! Let it rain down upon you like a big gay shower."
