After several rumors about a possible breakup, actress Jennifer Aniston and her boyfriend Justin Theroux announced their engagement. Without officially communicating when the wedding date will be, the representative of the actor and screenwriter confirmed the news to "People" magazine.
"Justin Theroux had an amazing birthday and received a wonderful gift when Jennifer Aniston accepted his marriage proposal from her," the rep said.
The renowned Friends star and Theroux have been a couple for over a year. According to the information published by the American magazine, the couple began dating in May 2011, after working together on the comedy Wanderlust.
For the screenwriter and actor this would be his first marriage. Aniston, 43, was married to Brad Pitt for five years. Her marriage to Angelina Jolie's current partner ended in 2005.
After the divorce, she was linked to musician John Mayer and actor Vince Vaughn, with whom she worked on Living With My Ex. She has also been linked to British model Paul Sculfor.
