When asked which character from her career she would like to revisit, Jennifer replied, "I always love Rachel and go back to Rachel. I can't escape her, actually." She went on to explain that while Rachel is one of her "babies," she doesn't have any plans to tackle the role again. "I feel like I have done them all; wrap them up and put them in a neat pile and put them away," she said.
Jennifer also talked about the Friends reunion special that aired in 2021. While the special was a much-anticipated event for fans of the show, Jennifer doesn't believe that there will be another one. She said, "I think that was it, I think that was the swansong. But you do never know." She added that the cast stays in touch and will always be "family forever."
During the interview, Jennifer also spoke about how difficult it is for her to distance herself from her Friends character. She said, "It's hard to shake it. It's so inextricably linked to Friends, so it's hard to escape that." However, she also revealed that she still watches the show "every once in a while" and that she and the rest of the cast "will never shake each other."
The Friends reunion special was filmed over a three-day period on the Warner Bros. lot, with the iconic fountain from the show used as a backdrop for the cast's main interview which was hosted by James Corden.
The special saw a slew of guests make surprise appearances, including David Beckham, Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, and Cindy Crawford. Fans of the show were left with mixed emotions after watching the special, as it was a touching tribute to the show's history, but also a reminder that the show had come to an end.
