King Charles III was overjoyed to hear that he was going to become a
grandfather for the fourth time, following Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's
announcement of their pregnancy.
He had already become a grandfather to three other children. According to Harry's account, they shared the news with his father just before a drinks reception for Princess Eugenie's wedding.
King Charles was sitting behind his desk in his study, enjoying the view straight down the Long Walk with every window open to cool the room.
Harry confesses that his father was delighted to learn the news and had a wide smile that warmed him.
