Princess Diana's former butler, Paul Burrell, has suggested that the Duchess of Sussex may not be "brave enough" to attend the event.
Burrell was quoted in the Birmingham Mail as saying that the occasion would be uncomfortable for the couple, particularly Meghan.
He questioned whether they were prepared to face the potential fallout and added, "I don't think Meghan's brave or strong enough to be there - she'd have to look in the eyes of a family she's pushed under the bus."
Burrell went on to suggest that Prince Harry might attend alone, as Meghan had told him she would not be able to be by his side if he did go. The couple's spokesperson had recently confirmed that they had received an invitation to the coronation, which happens to fall on their son Archie's birthday.
