Christine Ross, the host of the Royally US podcast, shared her thoughts with Express UK, stating that there has been a shift in attitudes towards the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
Ross explained that while they initially received positive press after breaking away from the British royal family, Americans may now be growing tired of them.
She noted that the public used to fall into three camps: those who were staunchly pro-Sussex, those who were firmly anti-Sussex, and those who didn't care either way. However, Ross suggested that the tides have turned, and there is now a real shift towards the negative.
She believes that Americans have been inundated with Meghan and Harry's magazine interviews, Netflix series, book, and press tour, and they are growing weary of the drama and lack of philanthropy.
These comments come on the heels of a Newsweek poll that revealed Prince Harry's approval rating to be a dismal -10, with 42% of Americans disliking him.
