It seems that the two women spoke about the media's coverage of their argument, and during a private meeting in Nottingham Cottage, the Duchess of Cambridge confessed that she was the one who made the "Suits" star cry.
In his forthcoming memoir, Prince Harry writes about the incident, stating that they all gathered in the front annex and that Kate got straight to the point by acknowledging that the stories in the papers were false. Harry himself admits that he was the one who made Meghan cry, and he sighed in relief when Kate apologized for the misunderstanding.
However, Meghan wasn't satisfied with just an apology. She wanted to know why the papers had printed such a false story in the first place and what was being done to correct it. In other words, she wanted to know why the palace wasn't standing up for her and demanding a retraction from the execrable woman who wrote the story.
