Bower claimed during an interview with host Dan Wootton on GB News that Meghan had always been "money obsessed" and had married Harry for financial gain.
Bower stated that Meghan had imagined Harry to be worth "hundreds of millions if not billions", but that this turned out not to be the case.
As a result, Meghan reportedly "wants to ride in the big Cadillacs, the private jets on command", but currently has to "scrounge" for such luxuries.
This sentiment echoes what Bower wrote in his 2018 book, Revenge, in which he stated that the British monarchy was not a "luxury Rolls-Royce machine" and was not as financially secure as some might think.
Recently, Meghan has also been blamed for marrying Harry "just for his money", further adding to her alleged obsession with wealth.
