As they walked towards the cameras, Meghan's assistant chose to step behind her and out of view, while Meghan appeared in good spirits. Commenting on this behavior, the expert, Judi James, observed that Meghan seemed comfortable with being photographed and did not try to form a barrier from the cameras.
As Meghan moved towards the car, she instinctively checked on her assistant and reached out to urge her forward, but it was the assistant who put her arm out to override Meghan and move ahead. This gesture, according to James, indicated that the assistant was more concerned about Meghan's safety than Meghan was.
The analysis of Meghan's behavior came shortly after reports emerged that she and Prince Harry had christened their daughter Lilibet Diana and that she would now be referred to as a "princess."
