Despite the fact that she thoroughly enjoyed playing Jasmine, she expressed her interest in playing a character like Cruella De Vil, despite not being a particularly nice person.
Reflecting on her time on set, Naomi recalled a particularly awkward moment when she first met Will Smith, who played the Genie in "Aladdin". She had just come out of the shower and had a towel on her head, with no makeup on, when she spotted him running up and down the gym they were in. In an attempt to get his attention, she shouted out his name, only to realize she had a long way to go to reach him.
She feared the encounter would be awkward, as he had no idea who she was, and only saw a random girl with a towel on her head approaching him. But when she finally got to him and introduced herself as Jasmine, he was excited to meet her.
Naomi fondly remembered other surreal moments on set, such as when she saw Will Smith and director Guy Ritchie running on a treadmill together. Even at the premiere, she couldn't believe that she was a part of such an iconic film. She felt incredibly grateful for the experience and considered herself blessed to have been a part of it.
