Sources suggest that the couple has made several requests to the royal family, including assurances about the level of involvement they will have in the ceremony and recognition of their son's birthday during the same weekend. There are even reports that they want to celebrate Archie Harrison's fourth birthday on May 6 at the palace, which coincides with the Coronation.
However, it remains unclear whether the royal family will agree to all of the couple's requests, and there are rumors that the monarchy is preparing a version of the coronation plan that does not include the Sussexes.
An insider shared that "two versions of the plans [for the day] are being drawn up. One includes Harry and Meghan and one doesn't. Timings are all approximate at this stage, but they are working towards a timetable now."
