During an interview with the Daily Mail's Diary Editor Richard Eden,
Palace Confidential host Jo Elvin warned Prince Harry and Meghan Markle about
the consequences of becoming the subject of jokes in Hollywood.
Elvin stated that the criticism from celebrities is uncharted territory for the couple, who are used to media criticism. Eden agreed and mentioned that the Chris Rock bit will likely hurt them.
The couple has prided themselves on their relations with the black community, their involvement with Black Lives Matter, and the civil rights award they received from the NAACP, which was featured in their Netflix series.
Eden added that having Chris Rock and a largely black audience laugh at them will not sit well with the couple.
