The host of the Royally US podcast, Christine Ross, mentioned that while the Duke and Duchess of Sussex initially received positive press in the US after separating from the British royal family, things have changed now.
Ross believes that Americans are getting tired of the couple's continuous magazine interviews, press tours, Netflix series, and book, which have dominated the news cycle.
Previously, Americans were divided into three groups: those who were passionately pro-Sussex, those who were firmly anti-Sussex, and those who didn't care either way.
However, now there has been a shift in attitudes, and people are starting to become more negative towards the couple. Ross said, "The tide has shifted as Americans are now growing weary of the drama and the lack of any actual work or philanthropy."
This shift in attitudes was further confirmed by a recent Newsweek poll, which revealed that Prince Harry is disliked by 42% of Americans and has a net approval rating of a dismal -10.
