In a DailyMail article, Wilson notes that Meghan's imitation of a curtsey during a televised interview for their Netflix series Harry and Meghan, which he describes as "nauseating," was a mockery of the formal ceremonial of the court.
He adds that even Prince Harry, who is not known for his family loyalty, seemed uncomfortable as his wife performed an exaggerated bow that aimed to make the monarchy look ridiculous.
Wilson accuses the couple of gross hypocrisy, claiming that they have used their royal status to boost their income and profile while maligning the traditions of Britain and the family who tried to support them.
According to Wilson, "they know perfectly well that no one in California would look twice at a third-rate television actress and a junior-ranking ex-army officer unless they were touched by the stardust of royalty."
Wilson concludes that it is only because Harry is the son of Diana and the grandson of Elizabeth II that Meghan was invited to appear on the Oprah Winfrey show, which they then used to criticize British traditions and the Royal Family.
