Prince Harry has been facing growing hostility in the United States, following a swing against him and his wife Meghan Markle in US polls.
The Duke of Sussex has found himself in hot water after revealing in his memoir "Spare" that he had taken a variety of illegal drugs, such as cocaine, marijuana, mushrooms, and ayahuasca.
A conservative think tank, the Heritage Foundation, has even suggested that Harry's visa could potentially be revoked for his illicit substance use. The foundation has called on US authorities to release Harry's visa application to determine whether he disclosed any drug use.
According to reports, the couple's bombshell claims made in interviews, docuseries, and Harry's memoir have contributed to their growing unpopularity in the US. In fact, they are now less popular in America than they were in the UK when they chose to leave.
In January, Meghan had a net approval rating of -13, with 26% of Americans liking her and 39% disliking her. Harry had a net approval rating of -7, with 31% liking him and 38% disliking him.
Meanwhile, some American comedians such as Jimmy Kimmel, Jimmy Fallon, Chris Rock, and Trevor Noah have mocked Harry's memoir.
