Specifically, the show will apparently feature the incident that Harry himself has called "one of the biggest mistakes of my life," when he attended a fancy dress party dressed as a member of Rommel's Afrika Korps, complete with a red armband featuring the swastika symbol.
This ill-judged costume earned Harry the unenviable nickname "Harry The Nazi" in the press, and caused considerable embarrassment for the royal family.
Although the incident occurred in 2005, it continues to haunt Harry to this day, as he has spoken about it in a recent docuseries, and now it looks as though a new generation of viewers will learn about this unfortunate episode through The Crown.
It's somewhat ironic that Netflix, the very platform where Harry has addressed issues of racism and bias, will now be reminding the public of this painful incident from his past.
