Royal family snubs Harry and Meghan's invite to Lilibet's christening

Despite being invited by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the senior members of the British royal family, including King Charles III, Queen Consort Camilla, Prince William, and Kate Middleton, did not attend the christening of their daughter, Princess Lilibet.

The ceremony was held last Friday, and there were less than 50 guests in attendance, including Markle's mother, Doria Ragland, Lilibet's godfather, Tyler Perry, and an unnamed godmother.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's friend, Omid Scobie, has confirmed that the senior members of the royal family were invited to the intimate gathering, but they did not attend. It remains unclear whether Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will attend King Charles' coronation ceremony in May.

It is also worth noting that Lilibet and Archie, the couple's children, have received royal titles following Queen Elizabeth II's death last September, under the rules set out by King George V. Despite this, the senior members of the royal family did not attend Lilibet's christening, causing controversy and raising questions about their relationship with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
