In her new memoir, "Inside Out," Moore confesses to cheating on her first husband, Freddy Moore, just hours before their wedding in February 1981.
Although the 56-year-old actress did not reveal the identity of the man, Carafotes, who starred alongside her in the 1981 movie "Choices" and is also known for his appearance in "Fight Club" alongside Brad Pitt, has come forward with his story.
In an interview with Daily Mail TV, Carafotes revealed that it was Demi who made the first move by calling him after he had worked an 18-hour day, saying she wanted to visit him.
Despite his initial reluctance, he eventually gave in to her persistence and she climbed through his kitchen window for "one last hurrah."
Carafotes believes that Moore just wanted to have some fun before getting married, explaining that she was young and perhaps wanted to "have a last throw down."
Moore has admitted to cheating on her first husband and sabotaging her own marriage because she was unable to face the grief of her father's recent suicide.
