Harry and Meghan: Attending Coronation 'Important' for Archie and Lilibet

According to a recent report, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are expected to announce their plans to attend King Charles' coronation in the coming days.

The couple has been advised on the importance of attending the historic event for the sake of their children, who are said to be "two of the most unique people born in history," according to American author and playwright Bonnie Greer.

Speaking to The Times, Greer expressed her belief that it's crucial for Harry and Meghan to attend the coronation for the benefit of their children, Prince Archie Harrison and Princess Lilibet Diana. Greer explained that the children are a blend of two distinct bloodlines: on their mother's side, they are descendants of enslaved Africans, and on their father's side, they are descendants of every royal head there ever was.

Greer also commented on the couple's titles, saying that they straddle two camps, with Americans calling them the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, while also referring to Meghan as Princess Meghan and Harry as Prince Harry. She finds it peculiar that in a republic like America, anyone would hold onto such titles.

Greer added that, despite the American fascination with the Royal Family, it's crucial that Harry and Meghan attend the coronation. She hopes that they will think about their children and their unique position in history when making their decision.
