King Charles' Decision on Honoring Prince Archie at Coronation

King Charles' Decision on Honoring Prince Archie at Coronation

According to reports, King Charles has decided to cancel his plan to honor Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's son, Prince Archie, during his upcoming Coronation ceremony.

This decision was made as Archie's fourth birthday on May 6th coincides with the Coronation ceremony.

While Prince Harry is expected to attend the event, his wife Meghan and their children, Archie and Lilibet, will not be in attendance. Instead, they will remain in the United States and celebrate Archie's birthday there. After the ceremony, Prince Harry is expected to join his family in the US.

Initially, it was reported that King Charles had intended to toast his grandson at a post-Coronation lunch. However, due to the absence of the Sussex family, the plan has now been abandoned. An insider revealed to The Mail on Sunday, "The King considered a toast to Archie. But with no member of the Sussex family now due at the lunch, it is highly unlikely he would do in their absence."

Recent reports have also suggested that Archie and Lilibet were not invited to the Coronation ceremony, with only Prince Harry and Meghan Markle receiving official invitations.
