Brandreth stated that the monarch is not as "obsessed" with the matter as the press may suggest, and is instead focused on preparing for his upcoming Coronation ceremony.
Brandreth believes that Charles' first speech as king last September, in which he announced that Prince William would be the new Prince of Wales and wished Harry and Meghan well in their new life overseas, demonstrated his support for the couple and his willingness to let them live their own lives.
Brandreth, who has met Charles and Camilla many times over the years, also revealed that during visits to their London residence, he has seen pictures of Harry and Meghan displayed prominently on the piano and mantelpiece.
Buckingham Palace recently confirmed that Prince Harry will attend his father's coronation on May 6th, 2023, while Meghan will remain in California with their children.
