Lizzie Cundy, a British television presenter, expressed her opinion to the Daily Mirror that Meghan declined to attend the ceremony because she was afraid of being booed.
However, Cundy believes that Meghan is putting her own fears and worries ahead of her children, who will miss out on the historic occasion. Cundy expressed disappointment that Meghan and Harry's two children, Archie and Lilibet, will not be present at their grandfather's coronation.
She questioned what they would think in the future, asking why they were not on the balcony for such a significant moment in British history. Cundy also criticized Harry's recent statements about the Taliban, saying that he is putting his family and the entire nation at risk.
Meghan and Cundy met in 2013 at a charity event, and their friendship ended when Meghan began dating Prince Harry.
Although Harry will attend the coronation, Meghan will remain in California with their children, including Archie, who will turn four on the day of the event.
