Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are facing criticism for leaving King
Charles in a state of uncertainty regarding his relationship with his
grandchildren, Archie and Lilibet.
In an interview with The Mail, royal biographer Phil Dampier expressed his concern about the potential impact on the young children.
He suggested that if Meghan and Harry had accepted King Charles' invitation to attend an event, it would have been a positive step towards repairing their relationship and creating a welcoming environment for Archie and Lilibet.
Dampier also noted that although the children are too young to participate in formal events, the King would still be delighted to spend time with them, and it must be heartbreaking for him to be kept apart from them.
