Meghan Markle Accepts Archie's Skin-Colour Comment Wasn't Racist

According to sources quoted by The Telegraph, Meghan Markle acknowledged in written correspondence with King Charles that she did not believe the concerns expressed about her son Archie's skin color were intended to be malicious or racist.

This was after she and Prince Harry gave an explosive interview to Oprah Winfrey in 2021, in which Meghan claimed that a member of the royal family had raised concerns about Archie's skin color.

It has since been reported that King Charles was the only member of the royal family to reach out to Meghan after the interview.

The Duchess of Sussex wrote a letter to the monarch soon after the interview, discussing unconscious racial bias within the royal family.

Though Meghan did not reveal the name of the royal who raised concerns during the Oprah interview, she did reportedly reveal the name in her correspondence with King Charles and thanked him for his response.

However, according to insiders, Meghan has since changed her perspective and now believes that the comment about Archie's skin color was indeed racist.
