Meghan Markle has addressed recent claims that she was responsible for
leaking a private letter she wrote to King Charles in 2021.
This letter had become the subject of much speculation since it was revealed that it contained allegations of racism within the royal family.
In response to the rumors, Meghan's spokesperson spoke to Entertainment Tonight, stating that the Duchess is focused on living in the present and not dwelling on a letter from two years ago that pertains to conversations that took place four years ago.
The spokesperson went on to refute claims that Meghan had leaked the letter herself, calling such accusations "false and frankly ridiculous." The statement ended with a plea for the media to stop the "exhausting circus" of speculation and allow the Duchess to move forward with her life.
