It has been confirmed that Prince Harry will be attending the coronation service at Westminster Abbey on May 6, while Meghan will remain in California with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
Royal expert Dan Wootton reacted to the announcement by claiming that the Prince and Princess of Wales must be relieved that Meghan won't attend the historic occasion. He referred to Tom Bower's book Revenge, in which he claimed a Palace aide overheard the late great Queen saying, "Thank goodness Meghan isn't coming," after Harry disclosed his plans regarding Prince Philip’s funeral.
"Huge relief today from William and Kate in particular," Wooton added. This news comes a few days after Robert Jobson's new book, Our King, was serialised in The Daily Mail, in which he claimed that Kate found the walkabout with Meghan and Harry at the Queen’s funeral "one of the hardest things she's ever had to do."
