The Duchess of Sussex has denied claims that she is unhappy with the royal family's response to a letter she sent two years ago, in which she allegedly expressed concerns over unconscious bias within the family.
A newspaper has suggested that this letter may be why Meghan is not attending the upcoming coronation ceremony on May 6. However, Meghan has called these claims "false" and "ridiculous," stating that she is focused on her present life and not past correspondence or conversations.
Her spokesperson has confirmed that the former actress has no issues with the palace's response to her letter and that this is not the reason for her decision to skip the event.
There has been much speculation surrounding Meghan's absence from the coronation, particularly following her bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey, during which she claimed that there had been conversations within the royal family about how her son would look.
Meghan's statement appears to put an end to the rumors and confirms that she will not be attending the event.
