In fact, she argued that drama is an integral part of the event's identity, and having the royal couple in attendance would only add to the spectacle and possibly invite some scrutiny.
Nevertheless, Mayah acknowledged that Harry and Meghan may choose to skip the fashion extravaganza in favor of attending King Charles' coronation in the UK, which is scheduled to take place around the same time. If they do opt for the latter, it could explain why they were not seen at the Met Gala.
It's worth noting that if the couple does end up gracing the Met Gala with their presence in May, they will be making history as the first royals to attend the event.
