According to a new book by royal biographer Robert Jobson, Prince Harry
was once scolded by his mother, Princess Diana, for "casually" using racist
language towards a bus conductor in London.
The book, titled "Our King: Charles III: The Man and the Monarch," recounts an incident in which an eight-year-old Harry imitated the Sikh bus conductor's accent while on a special bus ride around London with his mother.
While the conductor was reportedly unfazed by Harry's behavior, Diana was mortified and eventually had the trip abandoned. She then punished Harry by smacking him and making him apologize in a letter to the inspector who had arranged the trip.
The incident highlights Diana's strong stance against racism, a value she shared with her ex-husband, Prince Charles.
