The Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry, has revealed in his memoir 'Spare' that
revisiting the site of his mother's death was a "bad idea."
The prince confesses that he drove through the Paris tunnel where Princess Diana passed away in the hope that it would help him come to terms with her death, but it only made things worse.
In his own words, he admits that it was "uniquely ill-conceived" and that he had convinced himself that he wanted closure, but deep down, he didn't.
In fact, he got the closure he was pretending to seek, and it only made the pain worse.
He writes that he had hoped driving through the tunnel would bring an end to the pain, but instead, it was just the start of "Pain, Part Deux."
