Prince Harry has reflected on his time serving in Afghanistan in his book 'Spare'.
He writes about his thoughts before leaving for the Asian region, admitting that he believed dying in Afghanistan would put an end to the false headlines and lies about him.
Harry confesses that he contemplated death on the flight there and wondered about the meaning of it and whether he cared.
He even envisioned his own funeral and pondered whether it would be a state or private occasion.
The Duke of Sussex also thought about how he would be remembered by history and whether the media would focus on his headlines or who he truly was as a person.
He even considered whether his brother, William, would walk behind his coffin, and if his grandfather and father would attend his funeral.
