The Duke of Sussex writes about the training he underwent to respond to dangerous situations where their lives could be at risk.
He recalls an exercise in Herefordshire where he, along with his brother William and mother, were placed in a room and instructed not to move.
Suddenly, the room went dark and a squad kicked down the door while throwing flash bangs to scare them. The aim was to teach them how to respond if their lives were ever in danger.
However, Harry found the situation amusing and mentioned that they laughed at the thought of responding "if ever" their lives were in danger, considering the kind of dangerous threats they received in their mail.
This anecdote is a rare insight into the lives of the British royal family, who are often shrouded in secrecy. It is also a poignant reminder that Prince Harry lost his beloved mother, Princess Diana, in a tragic car accident in Paris in 1997.
