Prince Harry Sees No Reason for Anyone to Die in Diana Tunnel

Prince Harry has recently shared his experience of driving through the tunnel where his mother, Princess Diana, passed away.

He mentioned that he was disappointed to find out that the place was not as treacherous as he had imagined it to be. The Duke of Sussex, accompanied by his driver, had driven through the tunnel after attending a rugby match in Paris back in 2007.

In his book 'Spare,' Harry writes about leaning forward as the car entered the tunnel and watching the light change to a watery orange. He counted the concrete pillars and his heartbeats as they flickered past, but in just a few seconds, they emerged from the other side.

Disappointed, Harry sat back and quietly asked if that was all of it. He had always imagined the tunnel to be an inherently dangerous and treacherous passageway, but it turned out to be a short, simple, and no-frills tunnel.

The Duke of Sussex felt that there was no reason why anyone should ever die inside it. However, his driver and Billy the Rock did not respond to his remark. Harry's words show his disappointment and a glimpse into how he felt at that moment.
