After the ceremony, Harry will return to the US to celebrate his son Archie's birthday with his wife Meghan and their youngest child, Lilibet.
Although Harry confirmed his attendance at the coronation, he reportedly told his father that he will not stay for the full weekend of celebrations.
This will be the first time the senior royals will reunite with Harry since the release of his tell-all memoir, in which he revealed several family feuds.
Sources say that Prince William is expected to tolerate Harry's presence, but the Royal Family has not met Harry's demand for an apology.
The King's coronation celebration will be scaled down, with fewer guests being invited, and the procession route will be shorter than Queen Elizabeth's.
The ceremony will start at Buckingham Palace and will include a carriage procession along The Mall and into Trafalgar Square, before turning right down Whitehall. The King will greet well-wishers along the way and then continue down Whitehall, past Downing Street and Westminster Bridge.
The procession will conclude outside Westminster Abbey.
