According to recent reports, Prince Harry has decided to skip the
Coronation concert following King Charles III's crowning at Windsor Castle, due
to his alleged grudge against American Idol judge Katy Perry.
Apparently, Harry and Perry have an unlikely history together, stemming from flirty comments Perry made towards the Duke in 2012 during a Graham Norton interview.
Perry's critical comment about Meghan Markle's wedding dress after Meghan and Harry's royal wedding in 2018 reportedly also contributed to Meghan holding a grudge against the pop star.
Despite Harry's confirmed attendance at the coronation ceremony inside Westminster Abbey, he has informed his father that he won't be staying for the weekend of celebrations, missing out on performances by Perry, Andrea Bocelli, Sir Bryn Terfel, Take That, and Freya Ridings at the Coronation concert.
