According to a recent podcast appearance with royal experts Emily Maitlis
and Jon Sopel, Tom Parker Bowles, Prince Harry's stepbrother through his mother
Queen Camilla's marriage to King Charles, shared his thoughts on the upcoming
coronation of his mother and stepfather.
When asked if there was any "panic" around Prince Harry's delayed reply to the invite, Parker Bowles responded that it had nothing to do with him.
He then jokingly stated that he would prefer Harry Kane, the captain of the English football team, to attend the coronation instead.
Parker Bowles quipped that he asked his mother if Kane was coming as the captain of England, but she didn't know.
He also mentioned that he and his son were concerned about having the captain of England at the coronation.
However, it's worth noting that Prince Harry's attendance at the event was confirmed just last week, well after the RSVP deadline, and his wife Meghan Markle will not be in attendance.
